Introduction

At Salmond’s we are committed to protecting your privacy. This page aims to tell you everything you need to know about how we use your personal information in a clear and straightforward manner.

Who We Are

Our website is www.salmonds.com. Our company name is Salmond’s Mini Coach Hire Limited. We are a company registered in Scotland with the registration number 245742.  Our registered address is The Yard, Old Levenseat, West Lothian, EH47 9AD. We provide coach hire services.

What Personal Data Do We Collect and Why

When you enquire about our services we collect some (or all) of the following personal information:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Phone Number(s)
  • Your Home Address

We do this so we can provide a quote for the hire you requested. We then use it again if you decide to book the hire. It’s obvious we need your name and contact details to be able to communicate with you about the work. We may also use your home address to create hire lines if this address is a pick-up/drop-off location for the agreed work. The legal basis for this would therefore be the fact its necessary for the contract between us.

We also use this information to record and analyse the interest in our services. For instance, we record all enquiries and whether they go on to be booked as this can show if our pricing structure is effective. Another example would be checking if we have had an increase in the volume of enquires across different time periods or after specific marketing efforts. The legal basis for this would therefore be a legitimate business interest.

To be clear, we do not use the information to market to you. You do not need to worry about getting calls or emails every summer because you once booked a hire to the airport.
